The Artist’s need for Solitude
Another eccentricity that those in the ‘normal’ world often misunderstand is our need for Solitude. This will be touched upon more deeply in a later blog, but for now, each of us must realize that for what we do, we need lots of quiet time. Solitude requires that you ignore the details of life in order to pay more attention to the cravings of the creative process, and if we don’t get it, if we don’t make the time and have the ability to react to the voices in our heads, we really can go crazy.
