Creating Community
“The universal brotherhood of man is our most precious possession.”
- Mark Twain
Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘community’ as “1. a. A group of people residing in the same region under the same government, b. the region in which they reside; 2. A class or group with common interests; 3. Likeness or identity; 4. Society in general.” Though it has been said that the human race is truly the only one race and that planet is the one true community, the derivatives and offshoots of our many factions give a great cornucopia of celebration in diversity. Though we strive for inclusion and harmony, it is our differences that make up the notes of our celestial song, and the pauses of appreciation that make up the music.
